About the dive, Marian Gilpin said:

''On the day of our skyjump, the weather dawned fine. You don't actually feel scared until you've got the jumpsuit on, you're in the plane, kneeling by the door and the red light turns to green.....

The skydive happened, my instructor was tall, dark and handsome, as required, but I shall NOT be doing it again......

The funds raised will supply a tiled floor and electricity to a community room for by the whole village as a meeting point and to repaint and refurbish the Primary Health Care Centre.
